The peak season is coming!!! Get ready, set and go!

Hey peeps! Sorry about the late blog update due to work! I've been working at Metro for a week. Yesterday, Cade, Tricia and I went for the staff training at Metro HQ, HR department. There were about more than 10 temp staff attending, but it was totally unexpected to say that there were 3 of us (females) and the rest are all guys!! Yep this is the rarest possibility you can imagine when attending a session in a meeting room! Of course there were refreshments for us during short breaks in between. The most interesting part is during the lunch hour! The trainer gave us 1.5 hours to get our lunch, not only that. We need to go to our Metro Paragon's  (located at Orchard) closest competitor, Takashimaya Department Store! But luckily it has one branch here in Singapore, compared to 4 store branches at Metro!! Oh, the 20% storewide promotion is coming, starting from 7 Nov to 15 Dec! Ok, let me just proceed to the another topic, before I say anything boring about sales or anything I have learnt from the training itself! Because it will become the most boring part of the blog!

So what are my plans for this week? Starting from the day after tomorrow will be the start of the promotion, that's why I need to work full shift for 3 days!! Meaning working from morning all the way to night! Like more than 12 hours! Luckily I have a day off tomorrow for me to relax for a day! Of course not spending the whole day at home, its movie time with Cade and some more lessons with my guitar teacher! Surprisingly, I've finished the whole of Grade 1 Music Theory in 2 hours in a week! But my teacher is not amazed, because almost anyone who can finish the book within a week, exclude the exact time finished in a week! So here goes my fast-paced learning process for classical guitar music plus theory! This learning process has made me develop some very interesting 'side effects', it makes me want to discover other guitar counterparts, like the acoustic, ukulele and the lute! Now I'm currently saving money to buy my branded concert ukulele and two guitar books that cost more than $250! Wow, I need to save at least couple months of part time work salaries!!

Anyways, Anime Festival Asia is on this Sunday! My very first time to dress as an Original Character of a Mad Hatter is my very first role! So meeting new friends and add them is normal and also create connectors to ourselves! First is to break the barrier in between so we will not me lonely most of the time on the Internet! I just hope everything willl go according to my plan fir this Sunday!

Ok its time to keep calm and go to sleep readers!

Til next week!

Let the harsh training begins!!

Finally, all exams are over for the year! Awesome! But here's comes the harsh training during the holidays! After opening a bank account, getting a temp job at Metro and plan all my stuff.

Work starts tomorrow at Metro and I going to need to learn retail there (of course I not that good in retail). Anyways, I'm working 6 days in a week till the end of the year! I wish it ends now!!

Today Cade, Tricia and I were having a Kuroshitsuji Shoot at Fort Canning and Raffles Hotel! Although the weather was hot, but we still managed to get some nice photos from the majestic views in the interior and exterior! I even made some friends with other cosplayers, like Wacharat and Raymond! Their cosplay were awesome, and Cade was having loads of fun with Wacharat as Sebastian with she as Ciel in Female Ball Gown! Almost everyone got their eyes on her, as she was wearing a ball gown in England! For me and Tricia, we were helpers of Cade, and also amateur photographers! Now Cade has inspired me to learn photography as I'm interested on visual arts! So I'm now planning to invest on a good and awesome camera one day!

At the end of the day, all the hard work is worth it because this is my first photoshoot with other cosplayers and photographers, its even better than the previous one! Hope to have some more photoshoots with Cade and hopefully Tricia in her Cosplay!!

Ok, its getting late already, need to get up early for work tomorrow!

Until next week readers!

Behold, the holy battle!

Hey peeps! This week I'm been busy searching for part time jobs and also preparing my 'O' Level Mathematics! Anyways, searching for a part time job us easy, but being accepted is hard! So the interview is like a test of your abilities! If you are eligible for the job that is the first step of being accepted, but that doesn't guaranteed a success! Secondly, the number of applicants applied for the job, now this is critical. The number of aplicants applied for the job actually affects the probability of being accepted. Let's say that there are 20 temp staff needed to fill the empty spaces and there are 100 of applicants applied for the job provided that all 100 applicants are all eligible for the job. So the probability of being accepted is 20%, which is low. So there is an uncertainty of knowing how they select their temp staff, that depends on luck (maybe). Or else, pray that there is uniqueness in your answers during the interview.

Ok, enough for part time job problems. Now I'm busying with my preparation of O Levels Mathematics. Basically I'm not actually quite ready for the paper yet, because of the difficulty difference between O and N Level Mathematics paper. I have tasted the 4 EXP Preliminary E Mathematics paper, it was basically more on the language and more variations of methods and formulas. Especially the graphs!!! \@_@/ That's my killer question in paper 2, too bad it is compulsory for O Level Mathematics... :'( Even I haven mastered the higher levels of difficulty of graphs... So wish me good luck on that!
My advice for 4NA students going to Sec 5, I urged you to reconsider the consequences of going to Sec 5, it is a big jump as well as the difficulties of the subjects too when learning remaining topics or chapters for the O Levels! So please reconsider, or else you will suffer the pain of struggling!

Till next week!

It's just the beginning

Phew! The N Levels are over, what a relief! But this is just the beginning for a big change in our lives! Our after exam plans are just started and we are busy as always! By the way,we can't just stay in our track instead of moving on, only hopeless people do that! This is crucial! We all not like all those Primary 6 students who just finished their PSLE and play all day without any plans. There is a Chinese idiom 不务正业 bu wu zheng ye, it describes a person who slacks all day, basically eat and sleep all day. As teenagers, we all have dreams to pursue, if we don't take any action, there is no progress to fufil your dreams, that results in regret in the rest of our lives. So take action and plan your future, ensure that you will not regret in your old age.

Ok, enough of the annoying lecture(i really think so too, haha). Let's cut to the chase about my status update.

Basically, I have change of plans for my part time job, I am now hoping to work as a temp staff at Uniqlo, since its my tuition teacher's recommendation. A good pay as well and a staff discount!! That's awesome!! Actually, I'm not really into retailing, but for my savings and future's sake, I must overcome this challenge!

Not to forget, just after my N Levels, it's not over for my exams, I still have O Levels E Maths paper! Being one of the selected 4NA students taking O Level E Maths is a privilege, showing that I'm one of the strongest in Maths in the whole cohort, well not that really strong. -_-" (not really that proud of myself) its just more than a week away after my N Levels. So I must concentrate really hard on O Level Maths, this time there's gonna be some kick in it!

Ok, its about to turn up for the day! Good Night, readers!

Till next week!

Preparing for the final wave

The final wave of the N level is coming! So nervous right now! I can feel it's approaching in less than 48 hours! Just hang in there 4NA! There will be a rainbow after the storm! For me, I'm most confident of getting distinction of all of my remaining papers(except geography-comb. humanities) especially my combined science Phy/Chem!

Speaking of science, I wonder which specific field of physics I'm interested. Theoretical physics is so vague that it requires all physics branches to create a theory, for example the M theory that strongly relates to the unifiying theory. Well that's is my upcoming quest I'm going to do. Just hope that I can expand my resources and access with my capabilities. So what's your interest that you can contribute to the society? What's your hope for the future? I hope to see the world change as our perspective towards the universe will change forever...

Whoa, it's time to sign off. Have a good weekend ahead readers!

Home study

Holy cow! Home study is starting on this coming Monday. Well yesterday is my last day of school of the year as a graduating student (i hope). The N levels are resuming on 7 October, combined science papers (Phy/Chem), hope to get distinction for that! Anyways, there is exactly one week before the papers start, so I have a whole lot of time to study for my remaining subjects!

Today's is the fifth week of the Saturday, that means there's no guitar lesson for the fifth week of the month!! Usually I practise my guitar about two to three times per week, that's my standard schedule! Recently, I'm learning a classical guitar technique which is pretty advanced for higher grades, it's called tremolo. This involves using the thumb to play single bass notes concurrent with, or directly followed by rapid repetition of a higher note played by two (the middle and index) or three (the ring, middle and index) fingers. Recuerdos de la Alhambra (which is my favourite piece) is famous for this technique. Although it looks easy to learn, but it's hard to master this technique within a short period of time, if you apply in music pieces. I'm now currently trying very hard to master this technique in some music compositions, for example Etude in E Minor and Spanish Romance. When I promoted to a higher grade, the stress is even more overloaded, the journey to perfection to just even further than I thought it would be... Well, more stress equals to more motivation!! I believe that I will be playing all the famous classical guitar repertoire perfectly!

Till next week, see you later!

My First Blog Entry

Hey peeps!! This is my first time blogging here. Recently it's quite popular for expressing our thoughts in our blogs, so I'll give a shot on this... I guess mostly I'll be writing to update people on how my music is going, where I am at with songs and studies, and sometimes just to simply entertain my thoughts in writing. I guess in reading my blog you'll learn a bit more about my thoughts, philosophies and personality towards music (some other time my thoughts about Physics). I don't really expect a lot of people to read my blog as it is much easier scrolling down for my Facebook posts or Twitter using mobiles.

Anyway to actual blogging...

Currently I'm now finished the first half of my 'N' Levels, the experience for me is quite a scare, a mixture of positive and negative emotions popping in my head at the same time. The scariest part is the moderation as the MOE has to ensure fair grades to every 'N' Level candidate, it's like a double-edged sword, you will never know your exact results during the release of the results!! You only know your grade and aggregate, simple!! Now I'm preparing for the very last week of school for revision, still need to face the teachers again, after some confusion they made last week. After the last week of school, we going to be released to home study until the second half of the 'N' Levels (7 - 11 Oct). After which, many plans are waiting for me to start, like my A-Math tuition which helps be better prepared for my engineering course before school starts in next year April. Another of my plan is my preparation of my Grade 5 Classical Guitar Recital Exam which is going to be set in next year as soon as I polished my exam pieces, plus, I have promised my guitar teacher that I'm going to learn Music Theory with him since I'm ready for it!! Finally the most important plan of all is to find a part-time job to earn money to boost my unstable savings. What I had in mind is tutoring, but it limits me so I had to wait till I'm eligible for that. That means my closest choice of a part-time job is work as a temp staff at Daiso. Although the job requires filling in the stocks, it has an excellent hourly pay, luckily I had similar experience with filling in the stock! ^^

Well, I don't know if this was too long for a blog or not but hope it was okay to read at least on some level.

If you are one of the people who actually read the whole post, I will be trying to post a new blog every week so come back later on next week to read my new post.

Till next week, see you later!!

P.S Good luck to all 'N' candidates, still left about three weeks to go!! Hang in there!! Jiayous!!
